We are incredibly excited to introduce Loudoun County's very first
Open Air Market at the Dulles Town Center Mall parking lot,
EVERY SUNDAY, starting in March 30, 2025.

An open air market is a marketplace held outdoors, where vendors set up stalls, tents, or tables to sell a variety of goods directly to the public. These markets typically feature fresh produce, handmade crafts, specialty foods, and other locally sourced or artisanal products. Unlike traditional indoor stores, open air markets provide a unique, casual shopping experience in an outdoor environment, often creating a lively and social atmosphere. They encourage community engagement, support small businesses, and offer shoppers the chance to interact directly with sellers, fostering a more personal and authentic shopping experience.

EatLoco is excited to add our own spin by adding even more international food vendors, offering a diverse array of global cuisines. Visitors will also be able to enjoy dedicated seating areas, where they can relax and savor their meals in a vibrant, open-air setting, enhancing the community and cultural experience.  Additionally, we will be expanding our vendor application to welcome ANY small businesses offering services they'd like to promote at the market as well as start-ups.

FAQ's

  1. Will this replace any of the other EatLoco Markets?  Nope! This will be "in addition" to the Ashbrook and Brambleton markets located in Loudoun County.

  2. Where exactly will it be at the Dulles Town Center?  It will be located in the parking lot next to JC Penneys. There will most likely be signs directing you once you arrive at the DTC.

  3. Will the DTC market be seasonal or year-round At this point, we're not entirely sure. We'll most likely operate seasonally (from March through November) to start. However, if vendor participation is strong and foot traffic justifies it, we may consider transitioning to a year-round market.

  4. Will parking be an issue at the DTC?  HA! We're pretty sure we've got this covered.  With over 7500 parking spaces available to us at the DTC, parking should never be an issue.

  5. What types of Vendors will you be Accepting at the DTC?  From our standard farmers market vendors including farmers, food producers, hot food vendors, artisans, crafters, and Health & wellness companies, we are also including basically any small company or start-up that would like to promote their business to 1000's of weekly customers. We are looking for professional companies that are serious about growing their business and are not merely operating as a hobby. Each participant should have either an active business website, Facebook or Instagram page to be strongly considered.

  6. What type of vendors won't you accept?  We don't want this to become a "flea market", so no one selling personal items will be allowed. Also, no hot dog and/or hamburg vendors (or circus type vendors will be accepted (we're looking for true ethnic hot food vendors only).

  7. Will there be seating? That’s the plan! We aim to setup at least 12-15 full-sized picnic tables along with some individual seating every Sunday, providing a space for customers to relax and enjoy their breakfast or lunch from the market, or just to sit and unwind.

  8. What happens during a snow or rain storm?  We are working with the DTC mall management to possibly moving the market INSIDE the mall during those rare circumstances. It will take a lot of organization and logistics, but that is something we are working on.

  9. How and when can I apply?  Applications for the EatLoco Open Air Market at DTC will open on February 1st, 2025.  However, you can join our WAITLIST NOW and we will send you a reminder to when the applications open  (apply at the bottom of this page).
