What are the EatLoco Farmers Markets?
We are a vibrant network of Farmers Markets and Open-Air Markets in Loudoun and Arlington Counties, Virginia, dedicated to showcasing the best of local produce, prepared foods, handcrafted items, and delicious hot dishes from local vendors, and health and wellness products. Whether you're shopping for farm-fresh ingredients, enjoying a hot meal, or discovering one-of-a-kind handmade items, our markets have something special for everyone!

What is the difference between a Farmers Market and an Open Air Market?
While a farmers market is a type of open-air market with a focus on farm and food products, an open-air market encompasses a wider variety of goods and services, providing a more eclectic mix that attracts different interests and needs.  In addition, EatLoco's Open Air Market at Dulles Town Center will provide weekly entertainment, large seating areas, and over-sized parking lots.

Where are EatLoco Farmers Markets located?
We have 5 Farmers Markets:  -- Ashbrook (Sat) -- Brambleton (Sun)  -- MetPark (Sat) -- MetPark (Tues) -- and soon our Open Air Market at the Dulles Town Center Mall (Sun).

Do the markets operate year-round?

Our Ashbrook and Brambleton markets are open year-round, while our (2) MetPark and Dulles markets operate on a seasonal basis only.

What are the hours of operation for each market?
Ashbrook: Saturdays 9AM–1PM year-round, Brambleton Sundays 9AM–1 PM year-round, MetPark Saturday 9AM–1 PM seasonal, MetPark Tuesday 10AM–2 PM, seasonal, Dulles Town Center Open Air Market, Sundays 9AM- 2PM seasonal.

Regular Season vs. Winter Season
Our Regular Season runs from the first Saturday in March through the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November. The Winter Market begins the very next weekend, running from the Saturday after Thanksgiving until the third weekend in March. With this seamless transition, there’s no break in the market—just a refreshing rotation of vendors to give new sellers a chance to showcase their products.

What makes the Ashbrook Market so special?

The Ashbrook Market is our flagship market which started back in 2017.  We started at One Loudoun and moved to Ashbrook (20 seconds away) in 2024.  As one of Virginias largest farmers markets, (featuring over 130 weekly vendors and attracting more than 4,500 weekly customers) we are known for our diversity, the quality of our vendors, and the organization of the markets.

Is parking available at EatLoco Farmers Markets?

Yes, there is free parking available at all of our markets, with reserved spots for vendors. MetPark offers free parking for the first 2 hours in their garages on Market day.

Are Pets Allowed at the Markets?

Yes, pets are always welcomed at our markets, as long as they are on a tight leash and well-behaved.  We ask that if your dog is a barker, you may want to consider leaving them at home. Loud barking dogs (no matter how friendly), can scare the children and the elderly.  Also, when temps reach 85-90 degrees, it's recommended you leave your pups at home as the asphalt temps will reach upwards of 145 degrees and higher.

Do Vendors need a Health Permit to Participate?

Yes, vendors selling food prepared at the market, must have a temporary food permit from the Virginia Health Department. Farmers and other prepared food vendors must be approved by the Virginia Dept. of Agriculture (VDACS). This is monitored closely by the EatLoco staff.

Can I bring my own bags to the market?

Yes, we encourage customers to bring reusable bags to support our sustainability efforts.
