we want to see (and taste) Loudoun home baker’s best work.
And this year it’s in BRAMBLETON!!!
100% of Proceeds go to Loudoun Hunger Relief.

1st Place Prize – $100 Visa Gift Card
2nd Place Prize – $50 Visa Gift Card

$25 Entry Fee must be paid at time of sign up
Must be 18 or older to compete
Amateur bakers only
Pies can be of any flavor or variety (tarts are also allowed)
Pies (and all components) must be homemade – no store bought crusts or fillings!
Pies must be submitted by the person who made it – limit one entry per person
Contestants must bake two identical pies – one for tasting and one for judging
Pies must be delivered to the Brambleton Market on Sunday, August 12th by 9:30 AM.
Tasting begins promptly at 10AM – Final judging begins at 11:15
Cream/Dairy pies must be brought in a labeled cooler until tasting begins
Contestant must be present when winners are announced
All pie pans must be disposable and labeled on bottom

Scoring – Two Rounds:
Round 1 – crowd votes for their favorite pie based on taste.
Round 2 – top 5 pies evaluated by judges based on 3 categories:
Taste (10pts), Texture (5pts), & Presentation (5pts).
The pie with the highest number of points wins!
